Manny ‘Pac Man’ Pacquiao, the 32 year old Southpaw from the Philippines is possibly the biggest name in boxing in the world right now, with 53 wins (38 from Knock Outs) and just 2 losses and 3 draws, his record speaks for himself.  He stands just 5 foot 7 and competes in the welterweight division where he the current super champion, holding the WBO World Welterweight Champion title.

On the 12th of November, he will face off against Mexican born 38 year old Juan Manuel Marquez III, who has a similarly successful fight record, with 53 wins (39 by knock out) out of 59 fights. The bout is proving to be quite an epic showdown between these two powerhouse fighters and being a championship bout, where Pacquiao’s WBO World Welterweight title belt will be on the line, it will no doubt be a fight in which the boxers give it their all.

With a fight like this in the day of instant communication, no doubt the internet will be awash with stories, reports and theories about the outcome of the fight and on the day of the fight, 12th November 2011, it will be the biggest sports search term in the world – something that in itself is nothing to be scoffed at.  Many sports blogs will cover the fight in great detail and the online betting sites will be steaming ahead with last minute punters putting down some money on the fight.
